Artist Mentorship Program
It's time to make the music you’ve been dreaming of, to stop second-guessing yourself, and start finishing bold, expressive work that sounds undeniably like you.
Let’s eliminate the guesswork that comes with building an joyful and productive musical practice, so that you can make (& finish!) more music you love.
APPLY NOWYou're not new to this.
You're a deeply creative musician, with BIG dreams, drive, and passion.
You’ve invested in courses, lessons, seminars, and now?
...You're craving personalized support to take you to the next level.
Because deep down you know so much more possible in your musical life, and you want guidance and mentorship from someone who has been in your shoes and cares about your artistic development and success as much as you do.
If I had to guess...
-
You are creative to your core—and SO dedicated to your craft.
-
As a musician, you’re not quite like anyone else. Your sound and ideas are unique and experimental, and there’s a part of you who wonders and doubts… is it too much? Will anyone get it??
-
You have SO many ideas in your head, but when it comes to turning them into music, decisions seem to pile up and you get stuck (hello creative block).
-
You’ve spent hours on YouTube watching tutorials and have invested in courses, seminars, and lessons. And while they have gotten you this far, you have yet to really see the results you know are possible.
Here's the truth:
You can have all the skill and "how-to" training in the world, but unless you know how to consistently tap into your OWN ideas and turn them into finished projects, it’s impossible to build the kind of musical practice you actually want.
And I have just the thing to help you get there...
Introducing the Artist Mentorship Program:
An intimate 4-month mentorship & mastermind for musicians who want to unlock their unique voice, build a practice that gets results, & create work beyond what they thought possible
This is a deeply personalized, small-group program based on proven methods that are designed to:
And best of all, you get to finally say “so long!” to doing it ALL yourself, because you’ll have me on your team for artistic feedback and support every step of the way…
This program has helped dozens of artists to:
-
Move from creative block to unlocking their true artistic voice and creating their most fulfilling work to date;
-
Launch careers as musicians, performers, & sound designers
-
Release debut albums and/or done debut performances, with excellence and ease;
-
Clarify their creative process, resulting in increased productivity and consistently *finishing* music they love;
-
Reawaken JOY and creative momentum in their musical practice;
-
Build loyal audiences and supportive communities from the ground up—yes, even as experimental electroacoustic musicians, this is 100% possible for you;
You will learn a powerful, repeatable methodology that’s helped dozens of musicians (just like you) go from aimless noodling to laser-focused sessions, attract more creative collaborations and opportunities, and show up unapologetically as the artists they are.
Just like these incredible clients:
“The music I’m making now feels authentic to me, it feels like it was made by ME—and that’s what I wanted.
One of the biggest gifts I got from this mentorship: Sarah taught me how to transform noodling, patching, and improvising in your spare time into real, structured work; how to start a project, how to pre-produce a project, how to plan for a record or a performance.
When I come into my studio now, I come in with a sense of purpose. I feel like I can take myself seriously as an artist, and get access to MY individual voice… and I got all that from Sarah.”
— Ryan Walter
“I work in pop music, with all different kinds of artists and major labels.
I had lost that sense of joy that comes from making music… & it was starting to seep into my work and it really scared me. I felt very safe with Sarah, and very understood by her with what I was going through and wanted to achieve.
In the time we worked together I did so many things: I scored an ESPN film, I finished an album for the dance artist Chanel Tres that’s out on RCA, I also made a ton of wacky, extremely joyful music with trumpet and modular and I’m so proud of it.
This time I’ve spent with Sarah is one of the most important investments I’ve ever made into myself and my music.”
— Nick Sylvester
Hear how Jarred went from creatively frustrated despite decades of training, to composing his FIRST album + unlocking joy in his music:
“It’s hard to exaggerate the benefit of this program. It was a fundamentally life-changing experience.
Over the last 4 months I have discovered a creative voice & creative self that I didn’t really know was there. I was able to tap into something within myself that was really profound and really new. My experience making music now is a source of incredible joy and fulfillment.”
- Jarred C.
"I came in to build a system for creating live performances, to discover my own voice, and to be able to recreate that process over and over.
The feedback Sarah gives is extremely valuable. I learned so much. She really takes time to give feedback that’s caring and thoughtful, and she takes as long as needed -there’s no quick responses.
It’s a big investment, but I knew what I wanted and I came out with MUCH more. I’m super grateful and encourage anyone who wants to do this to go ALL in — if you’re going to invest in yourself, do yourself a favor and go the distance. You’ll get everything you want out of this and more."
- Lauren Korba
With your specific goals and desired outcome at the forefront, here are the key areas we will work on together:
PHASE 1: UNLOCK YOUR CREATIVE IDENTITY
Through coaching, creative exercises, experimentation, and play, we work together to uncover and unlock your unique artistic voice and personality. Regardless of what your specific project goal or musical genre is, this process acts as the gateway to everything else: effortless performance, creative flow, rapid technical development, bigger, bolder ideas, the ability to attract meaningful collaborations and opportunities, to build a supportive, loyal audience, and more.
You’ll walk away feeling deeply connected to your own creative wisdom, ready to tap into all the brilliant ideas that flow through you, energized, and motivated to make music every day.
PHASE 2: CLARIFY YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS
I’ll teach you how to focus your creative ideas, how to develop your inner guide (and tame your inner critic), and how to build a creative practice that ensures you are always moving toward your goals. I will guide you step-by-step through where your effort energy should be focused on at every step of your project so you know what are the needle-moving actions you need to take to bring it to life.
Next, we take action. You’ll discover all the steps for going from initial idea to finished piece of music, and you’ll be equipped with strategies and mindset tools so that you produce music that represents your highest form of self-expression, that doesn’t burn you out in the process of bringing it to life, and so that you never feel blocked creatively again.
PHASE 3: DEVELOP CREATIVE CONVICTION + DONENESS
This is where you develop unshakeable trust in your creative instincts and learn to navigate the final stages of any project with confidence and clarity. You'll master the art of self-coaching so that you never second-guess yourself into creative paralysis or depend on external validation to move forward.
You'll walk away knowing exactly when your work is complete and ready to share, with the ability to give yourself precise, constructive feedback, and with complete confidence in your creative decision-making process.
What we'll work on:
- How to develop your internal creative compass so you can trust your instincts about when something is "done" vs. when it needs more work
- My framework for self-evaluation that helps you give yourself the kind of precise, helpful feedback that accelerates your growth
- Strategies for making confident creative decisions without getting stuck in endless revision cycles
- How to become your own best creative mentor so you can guide your future projects independently
PHASE 4: AMPLIFY + EXPAND
Whether you’re building collaborative relationships, releasing an album, performing onstage, or doing behind-the-scenes sound design, this phase will help you position yourself and your work in a way that communicates your creative vision and value, so that you can attract opportunities, audience, collaborators, and clients.
What we’ll work on:
-
How to distill and communicate your creative vision in an artist bio and / or portfolio, that makes people stop and say, “Wow—where can I hear more?”
-
How to talk about and promote your music to attract new listeners and an inbox full of collaboration requests (without any icky, spammy tactics)
-
Week to week roadmap for releasing new albums & building an audience on social media, while still keeping the focus on your music
We will also ensure continued creative growth for years to come. I’ll teach you how to future-proof your musical practice by establishing a simple repeatable routine, and I’ll walk you through my personal creative debrief process to ensure you’re always elevating your practice to new levels of expression, skill, and music-making.
"I'm a classical pianist of 30 years. During the time I worked with Sarah, I performed piano & electronics for the 1st time (& have 2 more concerts lined up!) I was accepted into a performer-composer residency, and I was awarded a performance grant... most importantly, I am now VERY enthusiastic about sharing my music with people, which I had not done before.
I had this feeling of loneliness like I was the only one making this crazy, electroacoustic music. Now that feeling flipped to a feeling of connectedness." - Ipek Eginli
“I was the type of musician who would get too involved in endlessly tweaking sounds, putting together loops, trying to make a composition… I was doing the same thing over & over again & I didn’t know how to get out of that. I had the years behind me, but compositionally, I was nowhere.
In the last 8 weeks of the program I produced 6 or 7 compositions. I was really amazed I produced so much work. It’s an extraordinary class: My practice is better, my approach is better, I’m producing compositions, and I don’t find myself endlessly tweaking sounds any longer. I’m getting a LOT done now that I wasn’t getting done before.” - Greg Mencoff

I could never finish a project. I was all over the place and nowhere at the same time. Another big challenge was believing that I could actually do this.
Sarah was able to show me how much potential I actually have. And now, my debut album is with the mastering engineer—which is mind blowing. Not only did I finish a project, but it’s a big one. WOW.
Experimenting and making new music is SO much easier now, because I’m not constantly questioning every choice I make.
-- Oliver Delano
With all the classes that I have taken over the years, none has impacted me the way Sarah's mentorship has.
This program has provided the guidance I needed for solving my compositional block. The techniques and different practice strategies have opened EVERYTHING up for me. I feel as though I have the tools that were missing.
